Default increasing the bathazar cap

I was thinking of increasing my bathazar faction cap to 50,000-100,000 range so I can get more zaishen keys in one succession (or in case of ANet nerfs like increasing the cost to 20k faction). I had choices of commander, gladiator, champion, and hero titles to do this. Champion is out of the question because the guild i am in isn't high rated. I tried commander with my warrior character and turns out that I suck and get my ass whooped (I come to the conclusion that I really need Eye of the North for Christmas to get in the game in Hero Battles, since most skills in EotN would be really useful). Which leaves me to two choices: hero title and gladiator. Hero title is for hero ascent, and everyone is REALLY picky there, thus making it impossible for low or no rank ppl like me to enter a hero ascent battle (i need to go to observer mode on a battle that has a warrior, since I use my new pvp only warrior for most pvp related stuff). Gladiator, on the hand, I can find a group in team arena instead of going to random arena (which random arena reduces the chance of consecutive streaks). Anyways, what should I work in to increase bath cap?

Gladiator is pretty easy to get by doing RA as long as you have a good build. If you're good/ok at monking you can usually pull a bad team through to 5 wins and if you get an OK team then to 10 wins. Most GvG warrior bars work pretty well in RA since people don't understand the idea of kiting or shutdown. Probably the best way to get glad points is to determine when there's someone good on your team and when you're surrounded by PvE morons. If there's one other good player on your team stay, if not leave after 1 win and enter again.

the problem of a warrior in heroes ascent is that not many ppl pick these guys up.

P.S. since i have no rank in HA, it will be impossible for me to get fame or rank.

Get rank5 or 6 hero first since that's pretty fast, then work on your Gladiator titles. As Dark said, leave crap teams and, if you can, play monk.

If you feel that your team is terrible and only won through the other team's suckiness, you should absolutely leave after a win, and encourage others to do the same. Anything else is a waste of everyone's time.

If the others on the team want to stay together, they'll get a new player next round.

i find leaving teams, whether it's bad or not, to be rude. I'm saying the problem with heroes ascent is that new players will NEVER get a chance to get hero ranks if everyone isn't helpful and/or too picky.

Join a newly made HA guild. Get to r3 with them. Join another newly made r3+ guild. Get to r6 with them. Join another newly made r6+ guild. See the pattern? Then do the same for TA. Soon enough you'll be r8 hero/r3 glad, allowing you to put both titles in hall of monuments!

The problem of a warrior is that it is very difficult to be a GOOD one. You may think you are ok cause you swing your sword/axe, but the truth is that it's very difficult to find a warrior that knows how to play pvp.

If you want to get faction quick, just play something easy, like sin.

This is true, but the difference between a good warrior and a bad warrior is very small compared to a good/bad ranger, or anything else basically.

No not really, I've seen and played with some pretty awful warriors who play in top 100 guilds. You can tell who's a good warrior if you play with him, they'll make stuff happen.

Glad 1 or two probably doesn't take too long in RA. Likewise, hero 1-3 is pretty quick even with terrible teams. That should get you a 25-30k limit. Going for a higher limit just for the sake of a better faction cap seems pointless.

Raising Balthazar Cap is pretty much pointless...There isn't too much difference between dumping 10k faction and dumping 50k faction.

It's really quick/easy to get a 20k ish limit, just RA for glad 1/2 and then do some HA and you can get r3 hero pretty fast.

If you want to go much higher than that, then just HA and RA is probably easiest. You can get commander as well, but it's just ridiculously boring to do so.

Yeah, I'm have no rank in heroes ascent and nearly everyone just rejects me, so I kinda stuck with TA.

And isn't TA easier to do gladiator points since teams are more organized?

If you can't get a good group for TA, you might as well and hope for a lucky pairing with good players in RA. Playing TA with bad players is just asking to get rolled by organized teams.

/agree Once upon a time it was nice when a new chapter came out to have as much Balth ready as possible for unlocks, but as their won't be anymore chapters a higher cap is pointless.
